Every organisation can make great gains in the field of purchasing!
Purchasing makes a valuable contribution to a company’s market and competitive position. This increases the importance of buyers, especially in economically difficult times. The influence that purchasing has on increasing company revenue is becoming greater. Today’s purchaser is not just a buyer, but also a skilled communicator and customer manager who, together with top class suppliers, seeks structural improvements in quality, continuity and costs. The goal is innovation and the creation of value. This applies to the profit as well as the public sector. Against this background, a great deal is demanded regarding the profile and skills of purchasers. Ambitious companies realise this and invest in setting up an efficient and decisive purchasing department.

Purchasing • recruitment
Our approach to recruitment focuses on finding entrepreneurial professionals who have consciously chosen your organisation’s specific purchasing vacancy, people who, together with you and your suppliers, go all the way. Due to our broad commercial scope, we reach both experienced buyers as well as entrants from marketing or sales.
Finding the right purchasing candidate starts with a critical intake interview at your offices. In addition to an inventory of the job requirements, it is essential for us to sample the atmosphere. With an encouraging advertisement in the print media and on internet sites, and by contacting the candidates in our database, we trigger both active and latent jobseekers. The application of a candidate is the first step in a motivated choice.
This approach has resulted in many successful matches at all purchasing levels – operational, tactical, strategic, purchasing management, and executive, in both the profit and the public sector. |

Purchasing • selection and development
The same is also true for purchasing: people make the difference!
Whether the buyer / purchasing manager works for a profit organisation or in the public sector, the ‘new style buyer’ is the company’s visiting card for both internal clients and suppliers. This is why we pay particular attention to personality. We make a broad selection and are not obsessed by hard criteria. We are not CV‑pushers, but opt for intensive, personal guidance of the recruitment and selection process. Candidates are enthusiastic about our committed, thorough and decisive approach. They feel that they are taken seriously.
Part of our recruitment and selection process is assessment, where candidates are compared to a job‑specific standard group of buyers / purchasing managers and are assessed according to competences that apply to the relevant purchasing position in your organisation. Our assessment can also be applied to the development or training requirements of existing personnel.
Timeline Our recruitment and selection process is thorough and we maintain the momentum. The process takes approximately six weeks from the time the advertisement is placed until the final selection. |
