Checkers Safety Group Europe’s ambition is to take the business in the DACH region to the next level.
As the company’s Regional Sales Manager, you will increase the market share and implement a strategy for further growth in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. On the one hand you will maintain existing partnerships with distributors while at the same time you will expand the pool of clients and markets.

Are you capable of thinking in possibilities and chances instead of limitations? Do you consider yourself to be a true entrepreneur? As Checkers Safety Group Europe’s Regional Sales Manager, you are primarily responsible for all the sales activities and business development in the DACH region and possible further in Eastern Europe. Your eagerness and capability to adapt to different situations and type of clients, combined with your international commerce experience and sales drive, will provide you with the necessary set of tools to succeed in this exciting position.
You are responsible for achieving strategic sales and business development targets. To meet these goals you will partly focus on existing clients while also creating new business. Through a network of distributors, you will realize commercial growth. To achieve this, you are not only selling products to distributors but also providing them with the necessary training and knowledge.
Furthermore, in cooperation with the distributors you will visit a large variety of end-users, third parties and OEM’s in line with your strategic business plan. You will spend approximately fifty percent of your time traveling abroad to visit (potential) clients while penetrating new markets. When not on the road, you will spend time at Checkers Safety Group Europe’s head office in Barendrecht. Your direct reporting line will be to the Managing Director who is also seated in the Netherlands.
What will you bring to the table?
- Strong sales drive
- Proven track record in customer relations and developing new business in a B2B distribution environment
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated
- A true team player
- Technical knowledge is preferred but not a must
- Fluent in German, business level English; written as well as oral communication
- Bachelor/master level of education
